HPDesign 2.0  

Software for the simulation of

HEAT PUMPS or Refrigeration machines

operating on the vapor compression cycle (Perkins Cycle).

It is designed to simulate the STEADY-STATE operation of a variety of equipment configurations.

Key Components

  • Reciprocating Compressors (hermetic, semi-hermetic, open);
  • Coiled-coaxial (water cooled) & Plate finned-tube coil condensers (air cooled);
  • Thermostatic expansion valves & Capillary tubes;
  • Plate finned-tube coil evaporators;
  • Refrigerant piping;
  • Oil-refrigerant mixtures;
  • Fans (mixed flow, axial, centrifugal types);
  • Circulator pumps;
  • All common refrigerants;
  • Brines.

 

  • Also handles the effects of air dehumidification & Frost formation.
