operating on the vapor compression cycle (Perkins Cycle).
It is
designed to simulate the STEADY-STATE operation of a variety of equipment
configurations.

Reciprocating Compressors (hermetic, semi-hermetic, open); Coiled-coaxial (water cooled) & Plate finned-tube coil condensers (air
cooled); Thermostatic expansion valves & Capillary tubes; Plate finned-tube coil evaporators; Refrigerant piping; Oil-refrigerant mixtures; Fans (mixed flow, axial, centrifugal types); Circulator pumps; All common refrigerants; Brines.
Also handles the effects of air dehumidification & Frost formation.
